Works in progress are like children. They are hard to let go of. We want to nurture them forever before we release them into the world. Here are some of the things (not all) I am currently working on, and nearing completion.

Rave Review:
After my developmental edit Kerri Jackson posted the following: At the start of this year, I made a promise to myself: I would start accepting only those projects I was genuinely interested in instead of agreeing to work on manuscripts simply because I needed the money or had to fill a gap in my schedule. Fortunately, I've been able to do this, and my latest project—a developmental edit of a psychological suspense story—fell firmly into the genuine-interest category. As it turns out, it was one of the most riveting stories I've worked on to date. It had my emotions all over the place. One moment, I was holding my breath; the next moment, I was fighting tears; and every now and then, I found myself cackling like a lunatic. Once or twice, I shouted, "Nooooo way!" or "What the [insert colorful language here]?!" I loved the female protagonist, but there were times when I wanted to grab her and give her a vigorous shake. I can truly say that I relished every minute of the reading and editing experience. Suspense needs to have certain elements for it to work, and Tori Westminster ticked EVERY box. I can't wait to read more of her work. This was the first book in a series, so I'm thankful that I have much more to look forward to. And guess what? Tori was happy with the developmental edit and said so publicly (see below). She also left me a lovely review. So today, I'm feeling on top of the world. K. Kerri A. How about a quote...
Before I realized I'd made the decision, I heard an almost inaudible rasp, "I can't."
It had come from me.
It had come from me.
